Fusion Sleep is an accredited, independent medical practice that is 100% dedicated to sleep medicine. Our expert team of experienced physicians are board certified in sleep medicine and focus on disease prevention and management.
We are currently seeking a clinical PAP  educator to join the Sleep Care Management department in our Alpharetta, GA location. This role requires you to live in Georgia and commute to Alpharetta, GA.
What you'll do
- Instruct patients and/or caregivers on proper use, maintenance, and cleaning of sleep apnea equipment
- Responsible for routine patient follow-up contacts based on individual needs
- Inspect and test returned PAP equipment to ensure proper operating condition for reuse.
- Clean / dry / repackage demonstration masks
- Responsible for accurate data entry on monitoring websites for PAP devices (e.g. AirView, Monitair, MaskFit AR)
- Consults with ordering clinician regarding patient treatment, medical condition, home environment, and Plan of Care.
- Participates in ongoing education and training sessions regarding respiratory patient care.
- Process payments for products sold during setup appointments.
- Completing administrative tasks as required including but not limited to chart prep, paperwork, etc.
- Participate/Engage in the streamlining process for all job responsibilities
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Licensed in Georgia with your prospect certification/registry
- Knowledge of PAP devices and supplies
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent time management, organization skills, comfortable and professional when communicating via phone, email and text
Preferred:
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, G-Suite, and Slack
- Accustomed to working in a high volume, fast paced, production driven environment.
- Team player that recognizes value in nurturing relationships with different departments in order to accomplish goals
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Sleep Medicine and/or relevant specialty, RT, or RPSGT
