About Foxleigh Mine:
Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. About the Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this is a leadership role where you'll oversee planning and reliability across Foxleigh's mobile maintenance function. You'll lead a team focused on getting the most out of our systems and equipment; ensuring our work management processes, long-term planning, condition monitoring, and capital projects deliver sustainable results.
- Promote and maintain safety for all employees, ensuring adherence to Foxleigh's SHMS, policies, and procedures.
- Lead our Work Management Processes, keep systems accurate and compliant, and drive KPI improvements.
- Ensure all fleet assets have robust Life Cycle Costing (LCC) models and Bills of Materials to support efficient planning and forecasting.
- Facilitating monthly planning meetings with contractors and suppliers, aligning on shutdowns and supply readiness.
- Prepare annual and quarterly budgets, monitor monthly costs, and report on variances.
- Lead fleet replacement and capital shutdown justifications, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Champion reliability processes, condition monitoring programs (oil analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.), and fleet performance reporting.
About you:
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Strong leadership experience in maintenance planning, reliability, or engineering within mining or heavy industry.
- Knowledge of work management systems (Pulse, SAP, or similar) and condition monitoring practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to work across suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- A proven track record of delivering projects, budgets, and improvement initiatives.
- Commitment to safety and building a high-performing team culture.
