JOB PURPOSE
The Welcome Center Representative reports to the Back Office Manager and is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors and internal customers. The representative offers courteous and professional services regarding our facilities, including visitor information. The representative makes recommendations about the state's diverse destinations. The representative ensures visitors feel welcome and provides collateral to visitors.
We are looking to fill full-time and part-time roles.This position is on-site, for the I-75 Welcome Center at 1247 Interstate 75, Jennings, FL 32053
RESPONSABILITIES
- Greet and provide information to all visitors/tourists.
- Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer questions, inquiries, and concerns.
- Provide prompt, professional face-to-face services to visitors/tourists/customers and prospects on all toll services for various inquires and customer needs while maintaining a sincere interest in customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries and process requests on time according to established standards, paying attention to style, tone, and manner of communication.
- Anticipate and understand customer needs and determine the appropriate manner of communication.
- Communicate regularly with other units to foster an effective team environment and ensure these areas are aware of issues that may impact their area.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 6 months – 1-year customer service experience
- Customer facing experience is a plus
- Proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office
