Position Summary
As an Assistant Manager at Scooter's Coffee, you'll play a key role in daily store operations — supporting the Store Manager, leading team members, and ensuring each guest has an exceptional experience. You'll help train, motivate, and coach staff, while driving operational excellence and maintaining a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing duties
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver fast, friendly, and high-quality service
- Assist in training new baristas and shift leads to uphold Scooter's brand standards
- Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times
- Maintain accurate cash handling and inventory procedures
- Monitor performance metrics and assist with scheduling and labor management
- Provide hands-on support during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that promotes growth and accountability
Qualifications
- 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (coffee or quick-service environment preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example
- Friendly, customer-first attitude with a passion for people and coffee
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining Scooter's standards of excellence
