Assumes responsibility of Central Service inventory, supply distribution, and/or equipment control activities in the Manager's absence. Collects soiled sets/trays from patient care areas and delivers for sterilization as needed. Issues/distributes patient care supplies to all areas of AnMed Health. Maintains patient charges for supplies.
EXPECTATIONS
Lead is responsible for the following
- Ensuring a seamless and efficient operational flow while maintaining a high pace, positive environment.
- Lead with positivity and uphold AnMed’s culture.
- Uphold the expectation of 100% product delivery execution daily
- Maintain PEDs cart product that is nonstock inventory.
- Responsible for overseeing the organization of all supply rooms while collaborating with nurses and supply specialists to ensure proper inventory control
- Pars in order to reflect premier ordering system
- Labeled
- Troubleshooting and resolving inventory discrepancies in central supply including items delivered to central supply incorrectly
- Performing inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of on hand stock levels
- Communicating with manager and other leads on a consistent basis to maintain high-quality deliverance for end users
- Responsible for overseeing the productivity of teammates located at Central Supply, North Campus and freestanding ED
- Responsible for knowing lead receiving role, lead warehouse role, and all other positions for potential backup as needed.
Qualifications: HS diploma or GED. Certified Central Service Technician preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Good computer skills required. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
