Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Hospital in Humble, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This includes assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs. The Operating Room Registered Nurse will also collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions before surgery
- Administer medications and anesthesia
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery
- Assist surgeons during procedures
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas
- 2+ years of experience working in an operating room setting
- BLS, PALS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
