We’re hiring a Construction Foreman who knows how to lead by example and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. If you’ve got heavy equipment experience, a strong work ethic, and the skills to manage a crew and build sites from the ground up, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a civil crew and manage daily job-site activities
- Read and follow construction drawings and build plans
- Communicate clearly with your crew and the Project Manager
- Operate and oversee use of heavy equipment (Mini X, skid steer, trencher, etc.)
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and specs
- Address any crew concerns professionally
- Keep the project moving and on schedule
- Set the tone by working alongside your crew
Civil Scope of Work Includes:
- Installing ground rods, ground rings, and inspection wells
- Cadwelding and grounding for platforms and equipment
- Building steel platforms and installing concrete pads
- Installing/pouring footings, walls, and caps for shelters
- Open trench excavation and conduit installation
- Installing rock, fabric, and retaining walls
- Decommissioning old sites
- Setting steel posts for canopy systems
- Equipment and platform grounding
- Operating mini excavators and skid steers (certification/training provided if needed)
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of construction experience (civil telecom preferred)
- Skilled in operating heavy machinery
- Able to read and follow site drawings accurately
- Comfortable working outdoors in any weather
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and using ladders
- Good mechanical sense and tool knowledge
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
- Willing to travel Monday–Friday throughout the Midwest
