Warehouse Manager

- Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 Annual Salary
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and motivating the warehouse team to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. This role requires independent judgment and decision-making in managing all aspects of domestic operations, including staffing, workflow, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to meet departmental standards and performance expectations.
- Partner with leadership on staffing decisions, including hiring, training, performance management, and terminations.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and oversee both new and ongoing operational projects.
- Set departmental goals aligned with Radiant’s strategic objectives.
- Review, maintain, and approve employee timesheets and attendance daily.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse facility, including equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility repairs, maintenance, and safety inspections.
- Manage inventory of warehouse equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring proper storage and functionality.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
- Plan and execute facility improvement initiatives to support operational efficiency and a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, Distribution, or Fulfilment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong working knowledge of North American geography.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency is Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); intermediate Excel skills (formulas, graphs).
- Experience with Transportation Management Software (e.g., SAP, CargoWise) and load boards (e.g., DAT, Internet Truck Stop) preferred.

Work Schedule & Environment
- Full-time position, minimum 8 hours per day, with flexibility to complete all required duties.
- Moderate noise level; climate-controlled office and warehouse environment with fan ventilation (no air conditioning).
- Work involves frequent interaction between office and warehouse areas.
Mathematical & Language Skills
- Ability to perform basic calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and writing documents, spreadsheets, emails, and reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency a plus.
Physical Demands
- Regular: walking, sitting, using hands, keyboarding, reaching, talking, and hearing.
- Occasional: standing, kneeling, crouching, crawling; lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Vision: close, distance, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually
Starting pay is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
