SUMMARY
The Production Assistant supports producers and show hosts by handling technical operations, editing audio, and managing administrative tasks for live and recorded radio shows, podcasts, and remotes. Key duties include operating the audio board, editing segments, researching content, and coordinating guest logistics. The role requires strong technical skills in audio software, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the onsite setup and operation of remote equipment and resources
- Operate and monitor the studio's audio board and technical equipment
- Assist with recording, editing, and producing audio segments, highlights, and promotional material
- Ensure technical continuity and quality during live and recorded broadcasts
- Assist producers with show formulation, content, and creative input
- Help create show elements like intros, outros, and promos using digital editing software
- Maintain program logs and other administrative duties
- Liaise with producers, directors, writers, and other production team members

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience required
- 1-2 years experience with audio editing software and operating audio boards preferred
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and coordinate resources
- Meticulous work is required to ensure high-quality audio and accurate content
- Effective communication with team members and the public
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure broadcast environment
- Able to contribute to creative ideas and show planning
- Flexibility to working evenings and weekends

Compensation details: 15 Hourly Wage
