ABOUT US:
Tomarco Contractor Specialties, LLP dba ISAT Total Support, is a wholesale distributor within the construction industry with strategic manufacturing partners. Tomarco prides itself on being the global leader in the development and sale of innovative engineering fastening systems and application solutions. Started in 1977, Tomarco designs, manufactures, and distributes non-structural engineering and design systems for construction applications.
This role supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and general organization of materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Other duties may be assigned as needed)
- Review assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to prepare for work; gather required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Accurately pick, load, and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas.
- Assemble parts and components using templates, measurements, and specifications.
- Verify proper fit and secure fastening of parts and subassemblies.
- Inspect and measure completed components to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or escalate to supervisors when needed.
- Input data to track inventory, shipments, and orders using basic computer systems.
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
- Perform basic maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and submit supply requests as needed.
- Complete production and quality control documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the planning, installation, maintenance and servicing of the devices, machinery, and equipment in the department pursuant to the legal regulations in force,
- Responsible for developing, communicating, and training of operational and working instructions,
- Responsible for reporting any suspicious activity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty effectively. Key qualifications include:
Knowledge of controls and instrumentation, mechanical inspection tools, and safety practices
Experience in equipment maintenance and manufacturing environments
Proficiency with power tools and basic hand tools
Strong focus on quality, safety, sound judgment, and decision-making
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School degree/GED or equivalent.
2+ years’ experience in general assembly work or specialized training.
Experience with power and hand tools is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) within the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math and communication skills required.
