Role Summary: Join a hands-on manufacturing team building complex electromechanical systems used in aerospace and RF applications. This role involves interpreting schematics, assembling wire harnesses, routing cables, and integrating electrical and mechanical components into finished systems.
Your day to day duties will involve producing cables per customer specifications, verifying them against Bills of Materials (BOM) and schematics, measuring, bending, and cutting cables to specified lengths, assembling cable fittings, and performing quality assurance checks. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering
top-quality products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot cables, including phase matching. Produce cable orders according to customer specifications and validate against Bills of Materials (BOM) and schematics.
- Measure, bend, or cut cables to the necessary length, assemble cable fittings, and solder cable ends.
- Work involves bench-level and floor-level assembly using hand tools, torque wrenches, and test meters. Assemblers collaborate with engineers to fit and route harnesses through mechanical structures and perform continuity checks before final system integration.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on completed cables. Apply identifying information and labels on cable assemblies, and prepare products for delivery.
- Document processes accurately and in a timely manner, including Work Instructions (WI), Certificates of Compliance (COC), and other necessary documents.
- Learn and apply industry standards including IPC 620, ISO 9001, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (ROHS)
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of equipment and tools
