Occupational TherapistOccupational Therapist Responsibilities:
Evaluates patients and formulates individualized treatment programs in coordination with the physician’s participation. Implement activities designed to help patients regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to their handicaps. Maintains patient records. Assists in program development. Assists in maintaining appropriate equipment inventory. Directs aides and students as assigned.

- Ability to direct and carry out individualized patient evaluation and treatment (involves professional knowledge/ judgment, physical abilities, dexterity, ability to maneuver in the environment.)
- Ability to maintain patient documentation throughout the course of treatment.
- Physical, technical, and cognitive ability to operate OT equipment and modalities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, hospital administrators, staff, and others.
- Administers medications in a timely manner, safely and in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Receives and records verbal orders from licensed independent practitioners for orders that are specific to the services provided by their department. #cb
Occupational Therapist Requirements:
- Entry Level
- Bachelors Degree in: Occupational Therapy
- Current certification to practice as O.T.R. by State of Wisconsin.
- Valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Wisconsin and/or Illinois based on job assignment location.
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire.
Salary Range: Up to $32.00/hr (based on experience)
