Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet and say goodbye to all customers as they are at the register and on the phone
 - Accommodate any special needs to guests (food allergies, requests, etc.)
 - Presents menu options, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food
 - Take customer orders by writing them down and entering orders into the POS system
 - Wrap food according to Nifty Fifty's procedures
 - Follow takeout procedures to make sure guests receive all requested items (condiments, utensils, side orders, etc.)
 - Check off all items as you bag the food to go
 - Maintain a clean and organized area (condiments, napkins, comment cards, etc.)
 - Manage all delivery and online ordering platforms
 - Presents guest checks to each guest and accepts approved form of payment
 - Makes correct change or completes the proper charge card procedure
 - Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.
 - Clean counter and floors as needed
 - Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
 - Other additional tasks management may need assistance with
 
Qualifications & Requirements
- Math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required
 - Ability to stand for long periods of times
 - Carry objects up to 50 pounds
 - Ability to wipe down table tops, booths, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in all areas of the restaurant
 - Ability to reach high and low shelves
