Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance & overhauling equipment, such as refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, cold wells, exhaust fans, mua units, vent hoods, water pumps, gas furnaces, and compressors in a safe and timely manner
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of commercial mechanical and refrigeration appliances used in food preparation
 - Provide preventative maintenance activities by diagnosing equipment malfunction and any operating deficiency of the mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance
 - Assist the Regional Facilities Manager in their designated area by performing preventative maintenance and repairs in 50-60 restaurants through quarterly site visits
 - Complete 100% of all preventative maintenance visits each quarter
 - Provide the operations team and Regional Facility Manager with recaps of what was accomplished during PM visit
 - Prioritize service requests and handling emergency/escalated calls as needed
 - Maintain spare parts inventory in company or personal vehicle, restocking inventory and order of parts and service portal
 - Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management requirements
 
Skills, Knowledge, and Other Requirements:
- Able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
 - Ability to use a pc as well as Microsoft Office suite
 - Working knowledge of facilities management software preferred (Corrigo)
 - Working knowledge of service and maintenance costs, and procedures for various building systems
 - Knowledge of rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements
 - 3 years field experience in HVAC, commercial refrigeration, ice machines, and gas furnaces required
 - 3 years field experience in commercial kitchen refrigeration or educational equivalent
 - EPA certification or CFC certification required
 - Ability to troubleshoot
 - Good mechanical aptitude
 - Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers, co-workers and management
 - At least 18 years of age or older
 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school preferred
 - Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record
 - Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions
 - Able to lift a minimum of 50 to a maximum of 100 pounds
 - Able to provide your own basic hand tools (i.e. socket wrench, pliers, etc.)
 - Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, nights and holidays
