Role and Responsibilities
As a Spa Host, you will serve as the central connection between spa operations, guest services, and sales. You will ensure seamless daily operations by maintaining spa cleanliness and ambiance, optimizing the appointment calendar, and delivering an exceptional guest experience that reflects the luxury standards of Spencer's. This role blends hospitality, sales, and operations to create a warm, polished, and memorable spa environment.
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth, assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and service introductions.
- Provide personalized touches such as tea service, hot towels, slippers, and VIP preferences.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns to maintain a five-star experience.
- Represent the brand.
Spa Operations & Cleanliness
- Conduct daily inspections of treatment rooms, lounges, and spa amenities.
- Conduct weekly facilities' inspections of all areas of the spa in accordance with the checklist and action whenever possible.
- Maintain spa ambiance by adjusting lighting, music, and aromatherapy.
- Ensure spa areas remain clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
- Reset and restock treatment areas at the end of each shift.
Sales & Membership Growth
- Proactively promote and sell spa services, packages, memberships, and retail products.
- Educate guests on the benefits of enhancements, packages, and memberships.
- Use consultative selling techniques to meet or exceed personal and team sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
Calendar Optimization & Appointment Management
- Manage and update the appointment calendar in real time to ensure maximum occupancy.
- Rebook canceled or last-minute openings quickly and effectively.
- Coordinate therapist schedules, client preferences, and internal notes for smooth operations.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with therapists, front desk associates, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support team members during peak hours with both guest-facing and operational tasks.
- Communicate operational updates and complete end-of-shift handovers.
