Compensation Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Compensation Coordinator provides administrative and technical support to the Compensation team. This position assists with maintaining job descriptions, data analysis and responding to compensation related requests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the evaluation of internal and external compensation data to ensure pay equity and contribute to developing competitive compensation structures.
- Oversee and maintain the Position Help inbox . Will evaluate and process requests to create, fill, or modify employee positions.
- Oversee and maintain the Compensation Support inbox routing inquires and requests to appropriate team members.
- Assists with the maintenance of job descriptions on internal systems.
- Participates in the completion of salary surveys with 3rd party vendors using Salary.com (Comp Analyst)

- Works with Manager of Compensation, Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to assist with determining the salaries for offers of employment or promotional increases by utilizing market data as well as internal data and ensure both market and internal equity.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience: 1 year of Human Resources experience required. Experience in a Hospital or healthcare setting strongly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Human Resources or equivalent combination of technical and functional experience required.

- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in HRIS database management, analysis, logic, and report generation.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Attentive to detail and follow-up; deadline oriented; very strong ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
