Advance Practice RN Primary CareThe Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) functions autonomously and collaborates with other health professionals to provide high quality, cost-effective care to patients, manage health care systems and influence health care decision-making through expert clinical reasoning, research, and theory-based practice. The APC is responsible for providing direct patient care as part of the physician-led team in accordance with State Law and approved Medical Staff privileges.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:
- BSN required; MSN required
- Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner from an approved nurse practitioner program
- Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability
- Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
- Current unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- BLS Certification
