Carolinas Staffing is looking for a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Leland, NC!!
You are responsible for collecting quality donations of gently used furniture, appliances, household goods, and construction materials while representing the brand through courteous interactions with donors, customers, and volunteers to support our mission and support company operations.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and unload quality donations for the store in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Communicate the status of pickups to donors, dispatchers, and the team.
- Stack, pad, and secure items in position on the truck to prevent damage during shipment.
- Utilize and store equipment for the safe transport of donations.
- Use a donation scheduling system to maintain proper donation receipts.
- Assist with processing, merchandising, and customer assistance when needed.
- Able to adjust to different job duties/tasks quickly throughout the store.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by the store Manager and/or the Assistant Managers
Requirements:
- NC Driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull 50lbs frequently.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Must be able to operate light equipment such as pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities with limited oversight.
Special Requirements:
- Pass a Background Check, Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Record.
Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 8:45am to 5:15pm
