Multimodality Tech Radiology (CT, MRI, X-ray)Performs CT, Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, Barium exams, joint injections, C-ARM, O-ARM examinations and Bone Density procedures according to department protocols. Participates in PI CQI activities. Aids in callback coverage for after-hours exams. Responsible for the independent operation of CT ,Radiographic, Fluoroscopic C-ARM, O-ARM, examinations and Bone Density equipment, including but not limited to: equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures and performing quality assessment (QA). Performs venous contrast injections with little or no assistance.. . Responsible for the independent operation of CT, x-ray equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations. To include but not limited to; equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). Complete EMR/PACS records accurately to facilitate the interpretation of the examination performed. The CT Multimodality Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. Has an understanding of Radiation Safety and ALARA . Participated in JACHO, CDPH and ACR inspections and guidelines, Exhibits excellent customer service skills for our patients and physician referral base, co-workers and others with whom they interact.
- Must have ARRT (R)(CT), California State Licensure including CRT (RT)
- California State Licensure Fluoroscopy permit preferred
- Must have current California State Approved Venipuncture Certificate with demonstrated proficiency
- Must have current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS CPR/AED and maintain throughout employment
- Two years of CT experience preferred
