Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality rehabilitative services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. This leadership role ensures that all rehabilitation programs meet clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and patient-centered goals while fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
- Team Management
- Train and supervise rehabilitation staff including therapists and support personnel.
- Provide mentorship to promote professional growth.
- Clinical Oversight
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and HIPAA.
- Maintain high standards of patient care through evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Serve as a liaison between rehabilitation services and other departments.
- Program Development
- Introduce innovative therapies and technologies to enhance patient recovery.
- Lead community outreach and education initiatives related to rehabilitation services.
Qualifications
- Associate's, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure in respective discipline.
- At least 1 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, healthcare regulations, and reimbursement models.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
