About the role
At Esatto, we offer quality sterile and non-sterile compounded medications for our patients. This position, based at Esatto Pharma in Chandler, is focused on providing excellent customer service to our patients and providers in a closed-door pharmacy setting. This role requires diligence, attention to detail, superior organization skills and a desire to delight our patients in every interaction while working in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers in person and by phone.
- Leverage pharmacy management software for efficient entry of prescription information and to provide updates to patients.
- Fill prescriptions and prepare for pick up or shipment.
- Effectively process prescription orders to quickly get the right medication to the right patient at the right time.
- Process medication orders through point of sale system.
- Participate in regular audits and inspections.
- Participate in any department meeting and quality improvement activities.
- Complete appropriate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Full Time: 40 hours per week
- High School degree or equivalent
- Certified pharmacy technician in the state of Arizona or working toward certification
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to undergo a background check and drug testing in advance of employment
- Must be capable of donning the appropriate personal protective equipment as required per procedure and medication handled.
- Complete 2 hours of continuous education related to remote pharmacy dispensing/telepharmacy
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits
- $19 - $23/hour based upon experience and capabilities
- 5 or 4 day work week options
