As a Shift Lead at Scooters Coffee, you are a vital part of our team, ensuring that every shift runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership directly influences the customer experience, team morale, and overall success of our store. Below are the key expectations for your role:
1. Leading the Team
- Effectively guide and support team members throughout your shift, ensuring everyone knows their tasks and responsibilities.
- Act as a positive role model, setting the standard for exceptional customer service, product quality, and speed.
- Encourage teamwork and create a fun, supportive atmosphere to keep staff motivated and engaged.
2. Customer Service Excellence
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by greeting every guest with a friendly attitude and ensuring orders are accurate and timely.
- Address any customer concerns or complaints with a problem-solving mindset to turn negative experiences into positive ones.
- Always uphold our commitment to delivering an efficient and pleasant drive-thru experience.
3. Shift Management & Operations
- Take charge of shift schedules, making sure breaks are managed effectively to maintain staffing levels and efficiency.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including accurate cash handling, cleaning tasks, and inventory checks.
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times, with a focus on maintaining high health and safety standards.
4. Product Quality & Consistency
- Oversee beverage preparation and food handling to ensure all products meet Scooters Coffee's quality standards.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages or issues with the Store Manager promptly.
- Continuously check equipment functionality and report any maintenance needs to avoid disruptions.
5. Leadership & Communication
- Maintain open communication with your team, providing guidance and feedback to help them improve.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
- Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize shift performance.
Expectations for Availability & Flexibility
- Be prepared to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Always arrive on time and ready to lead your shift with energy and enthusiasm.
