About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Implementation Manager with experience in the healthcare space and who is passionate about delivering products that make patients and health systems' lives easier. This person will take on the exciting role of managing the implementation of multiple pieces of innovative technology, all a part of Fabric's growing platform. You will be responsible for leading implementations, gathering requirements from customers, and helping them determine the best configuration options. In this role, you will play a key part in our strategy of delivering robust, configured solutions to our customers, flexing your exceptional organizational skills while also utilizing your critical thinking and creativity to solve complex challenges.
What You'll Do
As an Implementation Manager, you will be the key driver of project success from deal close to go-live. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Project & Timeline Management: Manage several concurrent product implementations from deal close to solution delivery / go-live and stabilization. You will modify and manage the overall project timeline, ensuring that the go-live date is projected as accurately as possible.
- Client & Internal Coordination: Oversee deliverable execution and timelines for all internal resources (e.g., analysts, engineers, QA) assigned to your projects. You will also manage all internal and external communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Leading the Requirement Gathering Phase: Take full responsibility for gathering all necessary product requirements for implementation projects. This includes:
- Following up with the sales engineer to clarify the project's scope.
- Defining a plan for gathering requirements from the client, and consulting with internal teams (engineers, product managers, clinical support) to confirm what needs to be gathered.
- Creating the plan and process with the client to collect these requirements, potentially through a series of meetings or emails.
- Sourcing best practices and lessons learned from previously delivered solutions to advise customers on their requirements.
- Ensuring all intake forms and requirement-gathering forms are completed and handed off to the appropriate teams for execution.
- If there are gaps identified by the build teams, you will take the initiative to collaborate with the build team and customers to identify and fill these gaps.
- Monitoring the Build and Managing Communications: Oversee the build portion of the implementation to ensure it stays within the scheduled timeline. If a project timeline is at risk or inaccurate, you will take the initiative to proactively manage all communication with customers.
- Testing & Go-Live: Conduct a high-level review of created test plans by the QA team to ensure all customer requirements are being tested. You will also facilitate client UAT and get answers for customers from internal teams as needed.
- Post Go-Live Management: Create a plan for check-ins immediately post go-live with clients, coordinate with the analytics team and client partners for post-go-live reporting, and hand over the project to the Customer Success and Support team to manage the ongoing relationship.
