About HyperFi
We're building the kind of platform we always wanted to use: fast, flexible, and built for making sense of real-world complexity. Behind the scenes is a robust, event-driven architecture that connects systems, abstracts messy workflows, and leaves room for smart automation. The surface is clean and simple. The interactions are seamless and intuitive. The machinery underneath is anything but. That's where you come in.
We're a well-networked founding team with strong execution roots and a clear roadmap. We're backed, focused, and delivering fast.
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join early. Someone who's as comfortable building polished, production-ready interfaces as they are shaping the architecture underneath them. You'll work side-by-side with the Tech Lead, CTO, and product team to bring complex flows to life with clean, intuitive UI β and help define the frontend foundation this platform will grow on.
π₯ What You'll Do
- Own key parts of the frontend codebase β from routing and state management to components and accessibility
- Build intuitive, high-quality interfaces using modern React + frontend development practices
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and event-driven data flows
- Help define and evolve design patterns, component libraries, and UI architecture
- Make meaningful product decisions alongside design, product, and engineering leads
- Write code that's fast, clean, and built to be read and extended
- Design and implement clean, modern UI with an eye for detail β keeping up with current best practices in web design, layout, and styling
π§° Tech Stack (So Far)
- React 19
- TypeScript (strong typing encouraged)
- Playwright + unit tests
- GitHub Actions for CI/CD
- REST & gRPC API integration
- Event-driven data flows (via WebSocket or polling, depending on path)
The stack is lightweight but real β and open to your input.
β
What We're Looking For
- 6β8 years of frontend experience, with serious React chops
- Deep understanding of component-driven architecture, hooks, and state management
- Experience working on multi-page apps with complex workflows
- Comfortable consuming APIs and working closely with backend engineers
- Strong intuition for good UX β even if you're not βa designerβ
- Clear communicator who can thrive in async-native teams
π₯ Bonus If You:
- Have worked on design systems or component libraries
- Care about performance, accessibility, and fine UX details
- Have built staging environments or preview deploys
- Can debug across the stack, not just in the browser
- Can show us a project where UX and engineering came together well
π Location & Compensation
- Must be based in San Francisco, Las Vegas, or Tel Aviv
- Full-time role with competitive comp
- Flexible hours, async-friendly culture, engineering-led environment
