The Delivery and Print Production Associate is responsible for supporting Duncan-Parnell’s logistics team and the south Charlotte branch operations. This position is responsible for providing on-time, accurate and courteous delivery and pick-up of products and print jobs predominately in Fort Mill/Rock Hill/Lancaster SC and south Charlotte areas. This position will also assist with day-to-day functions of the branch to include printing and binding construction documents. No experience is necessary; we will train you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load, transport, and deliver products to clients in a safe and timely manner
- Review delivery orders and schedules to plan efficient delivery routes
- Ensure all printed materials and other products are handled with care to maintain quality during transportation
- Collect signatures and confirm deliveries with appropriate documentation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., checking oil, tires)
- Communicate with employees and customers professionally and courteously
- Ship and receive products and supplies.
- Unload freight from delivery trucks
- Assist with inventory counts
- Scan large format documents
- Assist print production team as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements:
- 2 or more solid employment references from relevant sources
- Excellent communication
- Customer service focused
- Team player
- Organized with attention to detail
- Able to work during business hours of Monday-Friday 8:30a – 4:30p
- Satisfactory DMV record (must be accepted by DP’s liability insurance carrier).
- Ability to use smartphone or laptop for mapping delivery routes.
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
