Role Overview
We are seeking Manual QA Engineers to join the Foxbox team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring product quality through detailed test planning, structured execution, and clear documentation.
You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and client stakeholders to validate functionality, uncover defects, and ensure delivery meets expectations. While automation is not the immediate focus, familiarity with automation practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Validate functionality across web and enterprise software systems.
- Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Support regression, smoke, and exploratory testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Communicate risks, blockers, and quality insights proactively.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect tracking, and test planning.
- Experience testing enterprise-scale applications (web and/or mobile).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working with distributed, remote teams.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in financial software or enterprise financial systems.
- Exposure to automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.
