CT Technologist

SUMMARY: Operates CT scanner; processes images. Prepares patient, room, equipment, supplies, and medication according to age specific standards. Produces computerized tomographic radiographs as ordered/directed and in accordance with established practices and procedures.
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible; CT certification within 1 year
Preferred Education/Training: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
Preferred Experience: Minimum one (1) year dedicated CT experience; one (1) year diagnostic radiology experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS
