Job Description:
This job helps manage the money and donor records for a Foundation. The person in this role keeps track of donations, helps with fundraising, writes reports, and works with people inside and outside the Foundation (like banks and auditors). They also help plan events and support the Foundation Board.
Main Responsibilities:
- Help with payroll donations and scholarships
- Provide excellent service to donors and visitors
- Organize Board meetings and events (set up the room, take notes, etc.)
- Answer calls, handle mail, and keep supplies stocked
- Record all donations
- Keep the donor database up to date and accurate
- Create reports to help with fundraising and grant writing
- Pay bills, make deposits, and track financial records using QuickBooks
- Balance the budget and help with audits and tax forms
Requirements:
- Must have experience in QuickBooks and Banking
- Associate degree in business, accounting, or a similar field
- At least 3 years of experience in office work, accounting, or managing donor records
- Pass a background check
- Experience using donor software (like Salesforce or Blackbaud)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am to 3:00pm
