Outpatient Clinic Rehab Tech/ CNA

POSITION SUMMARY
The outpatient rehabilitation technician assists in providing outpatient services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with SCI and/or TBI in the outpatient setting. This can include preparing and assisting patients for examination, providing transportation of patients to /from locations on Craig/Swedish campus, performing EKG, respiratory function tests, and phlebotomy. The Rehab Technician participates in the implementation of the patient's plan of evaluation and care as directed by the RN or Nurse Practitioner in the Outpatient Clinic.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Licensure/Certification/Registrations: Maintains BLS for a Healthcare Provider. Current Colorado CNA License
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent. CNA Training from an accredited program is required.
- Experience: Previous experience with patients with SCI and or TBI preferred. CNA experience preferred.
- Skills & Abilities: Sets appropriate priorities for outpatient rehab care needs. Promotes team effort and cooperation. Documents legibly, clearly, and concisely. Follows oral and written instructions. Organizes work while responding to changing demands. Communicate calmly and clearly. Perform EKG testing — (must pass competency). Perform phlebotomy skills under the direction of the lab/IC coordinator. This is based on training and a differential is paid for performance for this skill). Gathers, collates, or classifies information about data, people, or things. Reports and/or carries out a prescribed action in relation to the information that is frequently involved. Talks with and/or signals people to convey or exchange information. Uses body, tools, or special devices to work, move, guide, or place objects or materials. Involves some latitude for judgment with regard to precision attained and selecting the appropriate tool, object, or material.

Salary Range: $19.58/ Hour - $28.20/ Hour + 12% Per-Diem Differential
