SUMMARY
Load, unload, inspect, and clean metal parts to carry out the required Heat Treating Process
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow written instructions and any other applicable procedures to ensure product is processed according to customer requirements
- Perform applicable quality checks as stated on UGA heat treat instructions
- Operate heat treat, cleaning, and inspection equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to drive forklift is valuable, but not needed (UGA will provide training)
- Maintain a safe and tidy work area
- Additional duties as assigned
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Moderate level of computer skills including but not limited to a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, statistical, and manufacturing software is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Communication, problem solving, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills are important qualities for a successful job performance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Perform duties in a high temperature environment during the summer months.
2nd shift
Monday through Friday
2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
shift pays $3.00 per hour shift differential
Compensation details: 21 Yearly Salary
