Position Summary:

The Emergency Management Coordinator functions to develop and support Emergency preparedness activities for Salina Regional Health Center and its affiliate locations. This includes researching and developing processes and policies, conducting training for associates and leaders at all levels of the organization, evaluating responses to actual or simulated emergency events, creating actionable reports and summaries, and representing Salina Regional Health Center at community meetings with emergency response partners. This position is also responsible for the SRHC Safety Program and functions as the Safety Officer for the health center. The Safety Officer is an active member of the Safety Committee and sets on various safety sub–committees. Provides leadership and issues resolution regarding issues of safety.
