SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for creating, implementing, and supporting the talent learning and development of technological systems, infrastructure, framework, and strategies to support the organization. The Nursing Director, under the direction of the Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, assumes responsibility for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients in the assigned department(s) on a 24-hour basis; plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall clinical nursing practice and administrative activities, including fiscal, material and human resource management. Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures, maintains open communication with all staff and administrative team to promote improvement in performance, assumes responsibility for the role of administrative supervisor as needed, and provides leadership and support to encourage the optimum development and performance of each staff member.
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Licensure: Current Arkansas RN or Compact State license in good standing.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience required. Previous charge nurse and/or leadership experience required.
Preferred Education: Master of Science in Nursing
