The Opportunity
At 4AG Robotics, we're revolutionizing mushroom farming with robotics, computer vision, and AI. Our robots help growers overcome the challenges of repetitive, labor-intensive harvesting while boosting sustainability in food production. As anAssembly Plant Operator, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing team, helping to build the technology that is reshaping agriculture.
What You'll Do
- Assemble with precision:Follow SOPs and instructions to put together robotic components using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Ensure quality:Inspect and test finished products, identifying and addressing defects to maintain top-tier standards.
- Prioritize safety:Follow safety protocols, use PPE correctly, and practice safe ergonomics.
- Drive efficiency:Meet daily production goals, seek ways to streamline processes, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate as a team player:Communicate effectively, support colleagues, and foster a cooperative, solution-oriented environment.
- Maintain equipment:Perform basic upkeep and promptly report malfunctions to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep accurate records:Document production, quality checks, and inventory clearly and consistently.

What You Bring
- A high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly is an asset, but your willingness to learn is most important.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and production processes.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and comfort with repetitive tasks.
- Basic math skills and confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and teamwork skills, with a “pitch in where needed” attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work with small parts and tools.

The pay range for this role is:65,000 - 75,000 CAD per year(Salmon Arm, BC )
