PRIMARY PURPOSE/FUNCTION:
To provide for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Nursing required.
Previous Experience:
- Two years previous experience in ICU, CCU, Emergency Room or PACU required.
- Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana.
2. Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers by American Heart Association required first of the month following 90 days of hire.
3. ACLS certification by American Heart Association required first of the month following 90 days of hire
