JOB SUMMARY:
Current Health Solutions (CHS)/Blessing Member Service Representative will assist in creating an excellent experience for members and their providers. The primary responsibility of this position is to respond to member’s and provider's inquiries. This position mainly responds to telephonic inquiries but may also be responsible for responding to written inquiries and assisting walk-in members.
This position will also work collaboratively and cross functionally with other areas of the health system on business development projects.
This position will be 50% customer support and 50% business development.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Missions of Blessing Health Systems. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of Healthcare/Insurance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal and communications skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer/Patient service experience
PREFERRED
- Sales Experience​​​​​​
- Insurance experience or State of Illinois Insurance License preferred or willing to attain. ​​​​​​​
