Job Summary
Provides and directs individualized care to patients through the use of the nursing process. Schedules & coordinates Interventional Procedures according to the PMD' orders.
Essential Functions:
- Assists physician during procedures.
- Does patient assessment and monitoring for procedures and also for post-care.
- Provides post clinical patient reevaluations as per specific procedure.
- Coordinates with other members of the healthcare team, the delivery of care for assigned patients.
- Assist in scheduling Interventional Procedures.
- Assists Physician during procedure.
- Conducts patient education before test performs follow up when necessary.
- Provides post clinical patient reevaluations as per specific procedure.
- Inserts PICC lines and performs troubleshooting maintenance.
- Act as a resource person to other healthcare personnel on radiology patient care issue.

Minimum Education/Certifications
Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.
Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association)
Minimum Work Experience
One year Radiology experience preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and provide additional coverage as needed
