Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse – BMG
Reports To: Operations Manager and Medical Director
Location: I/N Tek Facility
Position Summary:
The Occupational Health Nurse provides onsite clinical care, health assessments, and case management to employees of I/N Tek. Under the direction of the Medical Director and Operations Manager, this role supports employee well-being, safety, and regulatory compliance while promoting a culture of health through education, prevention, and early intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver emergency and non-emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses in accordance with standing orders and clinical protocols.

Support employee wellness through health screenings, assessments, and counseling.

Coordinate and track occupational health programs, annual physicals, and regulatory testing.

Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, and assist with workers’ compensation documentation.

Lead initiatives in workplace safety, ergonomics, and environmental health in collaboration with Safety, Engineering, and Industrial Hygiene teams.

Serve as a liaison with external healthcare providers, community agencies, and internal departments.

Promote and facilitate use of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Participate in emergency response planning, CPR/First Aid training, and safety committee meetings.
Qualifications:

Current RN license in the State of Indiana required.

Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience; occupational health, public health, or onsite industrial experience preferred.

Current BCLS certification; CPR Instructor or EMT/First Responder training a plus.

Spirometry certification preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
-
Strong understanding of OSHA, worker’s compensation laws, and occupational health best practices.

Skilled in emergency response, case management, and health promotion strategies.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in maintaining electronic medical records and documentation.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Clinical and industrial setting with frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Must be able to provide CPR and physical support for injured employees when needed.
