About Foxleigh Mine:
Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. About the Role
Foxleigh are searching for passionate, focused and experienced operators to join our production teams. We are proud to offer a ‘people first' culture, focusing on the safety of our Coal Mine Workers and overall success of the operation.
About you
You will maintain the following skills, abilities and attributes:
- Proven experience in an open-cut coal mining operation.
- Experienced in operating ancillary equipment and haul trucks (CAT 785/789/793 & KOM 830E).
- Proficiency operating Dozers (CAT D10T, D11T) and Graders (CAT 14H,16H, 24H).
- Experience with excavators (LIB 994, 996, 9800, HIT 3600, 5500) is an advantage.
- A strong safety mindset with the ability to proactively identify and report hazards and incidents.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm to contribute to a supportive, team-oriented site culture.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable with a proactive approach to work and shift rotations.
- Current RII Statements of Attainment relevant to your equipment.
- Site authorised training transcripts.
- Current Standard 11 certification.
- Valid driver's licence.
