Summary
Under the direction and guidance of a registered technologist, performs radiographic examinations of various anatomical parts and systems of the body in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and/or treatment of physical injuries or medical disorders. Provides support to the Radiology department and Medical Imaging reception areas.
Minimum Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of the first year of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved training program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior healthcare work experience.
