About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Finance department. This is a remote, full-time position with an hourly compensation structure. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations, all while working remotely. Fluency in English is essential for clear communication and documentation in this role.
What You'll Do
- Maintain accurate financial records by managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up to date.
- Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Track company invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate tax reporting and filing.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial information promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Utilize bookkeeping and accounting software to complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or relevant role.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and basic accounting principles.
- Experience with financial reporting and data reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Formal training in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
