We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Support Chat Operator to join our Customer Support team. This is a remote, work-from-home position designed for individuals who possess excellent written English skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Support Chat Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting with their inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. This is an hourly, full-time role offering flexibility and an opportunity to work with a supportive and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and professional assistance to customers via live chat systems.
- Handle multiple customer conversations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in an effective and empathetic manner.
- Document customer interactions and escalate complex cases to supervisors or relevant departments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information.
- Meet or exceed set performance metrics, including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate.
Qualifications
- Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Proven experience in customer support or a related role, preferably in a chat-based environment.
- Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
- A high level of patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Access to a stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet work environment suitable for remote work.
- Proficiency with computer systems, typing, and chat software platforms.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
The pay range for this role is:75,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Remote (Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US))
