Position Summary:
- We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our team. The ideal candidates will deliver exceptional service, providing detailed information about our menu items and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests while upholding our safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Describe menu items to customers and suggest drinks that may appeal to their taste.
- Provide detailed information on drink or food blends, preparation techniques, ingredients used, and allergen information.
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist with preparing and serving food items as needed.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, checking on guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment according to health and sanitation standards.
- Uphold company safety and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team.
- Operate cash registers and credit card machines, handling payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Stock stations with proper paper products and beverage preparation items as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proper communication skills to connect effectively with co-workers and guests.
- Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize.
Essential Physical Functions:
- Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.
- Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Will frequently stand, walk, reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.
- Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy.
- Report to work in a complete required uniform.
- Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the restaurant.
- Meet personal schedule requirements punctually.
- Be courteous, friendly and pleasant.
