About the role
The Global IT Supporter will be responsible for ensuring and managing IT Support for all Zevra employees, consultants and contractors. The Global IT Supporter works closely with the rest of the IT team to ensure a high level of support for all staff, managing incidents, service requests and keeping track of IT equipment. Zevra Therapeutics employees work from several offices in USA and in Denmark as well as employees working from remote locations, the Global IT Supporter will be supporting all staff globally.
Furthermore, the Global IT Supporter provides white-glove IT support service to the company's executives, ensuring a smooth IT experience for the company's leadership. This can include in-office, remote or at-home support for executive management. Besides regular IT Support, the Global IT Supporter manages hardware purchase, installation/setup and delivery, such as laptops, printers and peripherals and ensures workstations are setup and prepared for in-office staff. IT equipment is inventoried and tracked and managed in coordination with Finance.
Additionally, the Global IT Supporter provides input to the IT Strategy with focus on IT Support and Service-related initiatives and executes those initiatives according to the IT Roadmap in coordination with the IT Director and the rest of the IT team. As Zevra IT collaborates globally, the Global IT Supporter is also expected to share responsibilities with the rest of Zevra IT and stand-in if necessary, during vacation times or periods of sickness.
Domestic and international travel should be expected in this role. We are looking for a person who has had substantial experience working within IT Service and Support as well as solid familiarity in inventory and asset management. Any previous experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is an advantage. Zevra Therapeutics primarily uses Microsoft technology, so experience working with M365, Azure, Entra, Intune and Copilot will be expected. Previous experience administrating SharePoint and Teams will also be an advantage.
What you'll do
- Support all staff globally, including consultants and contractors in IT Support related matters, managing Incidents and Service requests.
- Carry out VIP IT Support and service for company executive management.
- Perform purchasing, inventory and asset management to keep track of IT equipment.
- Install and setup office workstations and IT equipment such as laptops, printers and peripherals.
- Work closely with the IT team at Zevra to successfully deliver on prioritized tasks and projects.
Qualifications
- IT technical degree, engineering or similar education with focus on IT.
- Minimum 5 years of working within IT in general such as IT services, operation, support, management, project management, architecture or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of working directly with IT Support.
- Experience working in an international company.
- Experience working with the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Experience working with outsourced IT partnerships and services.
