Role Objective
We're seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Corporate Marketing who is eager to shape our B2B marketing efforts and substantially contribute to our growth goals via sound demand generation strategy and execution. This role will lead the comprehensive marketing strategy for the Phaedon brand, managing multiple workstreams while balancing brand strategy, planning and approach, and tactical execution. Over time, this role will include managing a variable workforce of freelancers and partners, with the opportunity to build out a dedicated team as we scale.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the VP of Growth & Marketing and is a key member of a collaborative Growth & Marketing team comprised of sales, revenue operations, proposals, analyst relations, and business development. The Director of Corporate Marketing also works significantly with leadership and colleagues across the business to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies aligned with business objectives Lead go-to-market strategy development and implementation Provide strategic guidance and oversight for team members and vendor partnersSpearhead multi-channel demand generation campaign strategies and execution, driving and scaling marketing-qualified lead generation with established KPIs, and continuously improving marketing ROI across all channels Data-driven management and stewardship of marketing budget Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals, product launches, and revenue strategies Optimize strategies across various project and campaign timelines—test, analyze and report out on results
Content Marketing
Develop comprehensive content marketing strategies and lead execution to drive brand awareness and lead generation via blogs, reports and eBooks in collaboration with subject matter expertsEnsure all content is aligned with brand standards, messaging and positioning frameworks, and strategic objectives Research industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify new content opportunities that resonate with key buyer groups Oversee the content calendar and production workflows
Digital Marketing & Social Media
Manage CRM strategy and campaign execution leveraging an Account Based Marketing (ABM) approachOversee SEO/SEM strategy and implementation in partnership with vendor Lead LinkedIn-focused social media strategy (organic and paid) Drive strategy and development of email marketing campaigns Ensure data-driven optimization across all digital channels
Analytics & Reporting
Utilize Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, LinkedIn campaign manager, and HubSpot reporting dashboards to track performance Implement testing methodologies to optimize marketing efforts Create actionable reports to demonstrate marketing ROI
Website Management
Own website strategy and content management (Word Press) Manage website vendor relationships and issue resolutionEnsure optimal user experience and conversion paths
Event Management
Oversee planning and execution of 2 major events annually plus smaller events Manage event logistics from contracts to execution Direct webinar and virtual event strategy and execution
Location:
Our preference is for this role to be based out of our office in the Designer's Guild building in the heart of Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood. We embrace a hybrid model with three in-office days per week to ensure a mix of collaboration and flexibility to support our employees' success.
We are open to exceptional remote candidates for this position. Note that remote employees may occasionally be asked to travel to as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field7+ years in B2B marketing leadership roles Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skillsProven track record of leading brand or corporate marketing function in a B2B environmentDemonstrated success growing brand awareness for small or mid-sized companies, with ability to build market presence without relying on established brand equityExpertise in demand gen strategy and driving results that support business goalsStrong budget ownership experienceExcellence in project management across multiple workstreamsDeep understanding of B2B buying cycles and persona developmentExceptional writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiencesExperience with Account Based Marketing (ABM) approachesDemonstrated leadership ability with cross-functional teams

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is estimated to be: $105,000 - $165,000 per year
