About the role
The Returns Processor – 1 is responsible for efficiently managing product returns to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction. This role oversees the complete RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process, including the creation of customer credits, responding to return-related inquiries, and generating essential reports to support operational goals. The position also includes maintaining a weekly call list to track and retrieve items in transit, ensuring all returns are processed accurately and in alignment with company standards
What you'll do
- Accurately process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in a timely manner to ensure efficient handling of returned products.
- Create and issue customer credits in accordance with company policies and timelines.
- Monitor and respond promptly to assigned emails related to returns, credits, and related customer service matters.
- Prepare, review, and maintain daily reports to track progress toward established daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
- Execute the weekly call list to follow up on and retrieve items currently in transit.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve return-related issues and ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in returns processing, order management, customer service, or related administrative work.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and able to quickly learn internal systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for customer and internal interactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
