Job Overview:
As the Tasting Room Ambassador you will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the tasting room manager to achieve the highest level of service, creative educational programs, and guest satisfaction to all our clients and customers. You will engage professionally with clients through tasting room, private, and special event functions scheduled at the Urban Tasting Room or at designated locations.

- Ability to relay service expectation and information that is respectful, clear and concise
- Strong Knowledge of Eco Terreno Wines that promotes our product and increases opportunities for sales and membership signups
- Personalized service skills that build loyal guest relationships, instill team comradery, and exhibit vendor appreciation
- Ability to memorize tasting notes and history to provide a personalized hospitality experience
- Able to assist in all tasks associated with private events, possibly outside normal hours and days.
- Opening and closing tasks that reflect acute attention to detail
- Organization skills that help the team execute seamless flow of services
- Active participation that supports team members in achieving elevated, elegant, warm, and hospitable execution of tableside service reflecting our standards
- Attention to detail and ability to complete all tasks

- Ability to recognize guests expressed and unexpressed wishes and needs
- Strong, empathetic verbiage and conflict resolution skills
- Intuitive awareness of opportunities that may compromise the safety of the team and guests, such as: floor mat placement on rainy days
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Level 1:
- 0-3 years of Tasting Room/ Hospitality / Fine Dining experience
Level 2:
- 3-5 years of Tasting Room / Hospitality / Fine Dining experience
Level 3:
- 5+ years of Tasting Room / Hospitality / Fine Dining experience
- Hospitality experience
- Ability to be team driven and offer the highest level of guest experience
- Active part of service
- Strong wine and food pairing knowledge
- Strong observation skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Preferred Experience:
- Sommelier education or experience
- WSET certification
Employment Details:
This position is on-site in San Francisco, CA
The pay range for this role is:
Level 1: $20 - $24
Level 2: $25 - $31
Level 3: $32 - $36
