Job Overview:
As a Fractional HR Generalist you will be responsible for providing scalable Human Resources and other remote Back Office Support for growing businesses. Our role as Fractional HR Team Members is to provide clients with outstanding results, becoming an extension of their internal teams and being the subject matter expert and go-to in house support. Expectations in this role typically include informing on and implementing compliance expectations as well as conducting training and administrative needs to support their workplace functions. Successful candidates in this role will collaborate effectively with our team of HR Professionals as well as provide exceptional service to your assigned Clients and their Team Members.

- Conduct HR evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Effectively project manage change initiatives based on findings of HR, Safety, and Payroll assessments.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaorate with recruiter to finalize job offers, conduct new employee onboarding, and faciliate new hire orientation.
- Manage employee benefits administration.
- Helping clients transition payroll/HRIS systems
- Conduct workplace investigations as applicable by law or guide clients in conducting workplace investigations when required for compliance.
- Leave of absence administration
- Help administer performance appraisals and employee feedback surveys
- Process payroll and reconcile benefits
- Onboard and Offboard employees within client's chosen systems
- Facilitate exit interviews
- Assist with work comp administration
- Provide ongoing HR compliance guidance.
- Coach Owners, Managers, and Employees as necessary
- Provide employee relations guidance and performance management tools to Managers and Owners to effectively ensure productivity in the workplace
- Additional Duties as Required when identifying areas of need as the trusted HR SME
- Some client on-site visits required based on the client's need
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Consultant, or HR Manager with varying levels of responsibility.
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Project Management skills (preferably utilizing Asana).
- Ability to document client notes efficiently and effectively utilizing HubSpot.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Office Suite, and HR technology platforms (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM or HRCI Certification
- Bi-lingual
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Utilization of AI and Automation in systems to provide efficiency
Employment Details:
In general, this role is considered remote and will have flexibility in scheduling required on-site visits to client locations. This role is based in Northern CA and will be required to travel up to 50 miles (mileage reimbursed) to visit client's locations at least 2-3 times per week. Individuals unwilling to travel to client locations will not be considered for this role.

The pay range for this role is:29 - 48 USD per hour(Eco Terreno - Office)
