Job Summary
The candidate would join the Clinical-Product-Data team to carry out systematic research and analysis into the clinical trials conducted at FluidAI Medical, as well as the medical literature to support the enhancement of FluidAI's products. The candidate would develop pipelines for the processing of data from several sources, including existing literature, customer feedback, user research, and clinical trials to draw conclusions that allow for improved product design and definition. These enhancements will be tested in further clinical trials conducted by FluidAI Medical and in commercial markets. The candidate will answer key research questions, and prepare the required data structures to handover the required information to the product development team, and maintain the related documentation. Furthermore, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team of data scientists, clinical trial specialists, as well as product and design teams. This position will require you to come into our offices located in Kitchener, ON.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete clinical-focused research and analysis for supporting product strategy and design
- Develop pipelines for the structuring and transfer of clinical parameters for research and product development
- Conduct focused literature reviews to understand key user problems and design solutions
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation based on the results obtained from clinical research, including but not limited to presentations, proposals, and marketing material
- Support product evaluation, including evaluation of usability, UI/UX components, and offer feedback

- Candidate for Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field of study
- Prior experience conducting clinical research is an asset
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Ability to learn new software tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Comprehension of medical terminology is an asset

- Compensation: The salary for this position will be based on the average co-op wages as outlined by your institution's co-op program or similar institutions if specific data is unavailable, ensuring fair and competitive compensation aligned with industry and academic standards.
