The Cardiac Rehab RRT is responsible for providing professional respiratory care through assessment, clinical judgment, treatment and instruction to any population group in need. The position is also responsible for providing certain cardiac and diagnostic procedures that will assist in providing quality care to the patient. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Respiratory TherapyAssociates Degree or higher required. Must have Tennessee RRT License. Holds a current national credential for Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), unless received credentials prior to year 2002, then is not required. BLS required upon hire or within 3 months of hire. ACLS upon hire or within 1 year of hire
Experience: Hospital experience with medical/surgical,and critical care patients preferred. Additional skills in ECG and other diagnostic procedures.
