SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Security Manager, the Team Leader is responsible for supervising the activities and performance of the Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of AnMed employees, patients, vendors, visitors and property.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop shift reports for shift change.
- Review all Reports generated for accuracy and awareness.
- Assist Security Manager with liaison activities, as needed, with Anderson Police Department, Anderson Sheriff’s Department, and any other law enforcement agencies.
- To maintain effective and productive relationships between Security and all other AnMed departments, enhancing an atmosphere of cooperation and protection.
- To investigate any and all reports of misconduct by subordinates, patients, visitors, vendors and staff.
- Perform all required duties related to AnMed Morgue, in collaboration with Anderson County Coroner’s Office.
- Assist the Security Manager in payroll functions as requested.
- Participate in Staff Meetings as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
HSD/GED equivalent required. Must have successfully completed the minimum standard training for Security Officers as required by the State of South Carolina and be commissioned as a Security Officer.
Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in both oral and written form and edit the written communications of subordinates.
Must be familiar with the proper use of two-way radio and codes.
Ability to physically defend self, subdue attackers and properly use handcuffs and tasers.
Ability to maintain composure, use good judgement and make sound decisions in emergency and stressful situations.
